Fercullen Garden Cocktail

Combining the home of Fercullen Irish Whiskey – Powerscourt Estate and Gardens –
with the home of Taste of Dublin – The Iveagh Gardens,
Powerscourt Distillery offers our signature Taste of Dublin cocktail …
‘The Fercullen Garden’

The centrepiece of the world famous Powerscourt Gardens are the Italian Gardens. Inspired by the designs of Italian terraced gardens, they offer the iconic backdrop to Powerscourt House. This is the home of Fercullen Irish Whiskey where our Master Distiller Noel Sweeney distills our Extraordinary Spirit.

To showcase this Extraordinary Spirit at Taste of Dublin we have also chosen some Italian garden influences for our cocktail. Using Irish supplier’s ingredients with an Italian twist we have created the Fercullen Garden, a refreshing cocktail using Fercullen Irish Whiskey, Italian flavours of Grapefruit Syrup from Drink Botanicals Ireland and aromatic bitters from Beara Bitters.

We’ve topped our cocktail with Schweppes tonic water to add refreshing effervescence!

Irish craftsmanship in our whiskey; syrups and bitters with Italian influences; just as the iconic gardens at Powerscourt have been created with Irish workmanship and Italian influences. The Italian gardens at Powerscourt are adjacent to the centuries old Powerscourt Kitchen gardens, represented in our cocktail with a sprig of rosemary to add just the right touch of aromatics to the delicious citrus notes in the whiskey which are enhanced by the grapefruit syrup.

From Powerscourt Gardens to the Iveagh Gardens, the Fercullen Garden Cocktail captures the history and provenance of Powerscourt with the celebratory spirit of Taste of Dublin at The Iveagh Gardens
