Fercullen Single Malt – Bottle #1 for you?

Powerscourt Distillery and Rory’s Miles to Mayo, in aid of Cancer Fund for Children, are delighted to offer the opportunity to own a piece of distilling history – Fercullen Single Malt bottle number 1 of the first release of whiskey distilled in county Wicklow in over 100 years.

Distilled in the Powerscourt Distillery on the stunning Powerscourt Estate in Co, Wicklow, this is a triple distilled single malt, matured in ex-bourbon barrels, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV.

The first 6,000 bottles have been individually numbered and have attracted attention from whiskey lovers all over the world. This is a great opportunity to secure the much sought-after bottle No 1, a piece of distilling history that will be the envy of whiskey collectors and auction houses alike.

This whiskey’s complex flavour profile boasts a nose filled with toffee, baking spices, vanilla, dessert apples, pears, soft leather, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baked buttered pastry crusts. On the palate, enjoy rich notes of vanilla custard, soft oak, salted caramel, digestives, and tarte tatin, followed by a warming finish complemented by oak spices, soft leather, honeyed almonds, and stewed fruits.

Donated by Powerscourt Distillery and secured by David Jermyn in memory of close friend and colleague Guy Percival

Bidding ends this Thursday, 25th May.
